We are devastated by the passing of our long-time friend and teammate, Carla Hunt. Carla started with PIEtech in 2007 as a member of the Support team. With fewer than 25 employees at the time, she joined a small, growing company, but Carla saw an opportunity to combine her passion and skill set in this new chapter of her career.
Of her many passions and skills, she was able to apply her compassion, desire to help people, and financial planning knowledge to her daily work. Over her 15 years with the company, she thoughtfully guided tens of thousands of advisors, who, in turn, created better plans for their hundreds of thousands of clients.
She invested hundreds of hours into mastering her craft where Carla earned her ChFC® and later her CFP® credentials. So many of us had the privilege of working beside her as her career progressed.
Carla often spoke fondly of the loves of her life: her husband, David and daughter, Destiny. Carla lived to care for others in her career, faith and family. In so many ways, she was just pure… pure love, compassion, warmth, strength, and integrity.
Join us in honoring Carla's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to the Susan G Komen for the Cure, the American Cancer Society, Cayman Turtle Conservation and Education Centre, or any personal favorite charity.
